The European Research Center on Contemporary Taiwan (ERCCT) at Eberhard-Karls-University in Tuebingen, one of the leading institutions for Taiwan Research in Europe, is now offering a monthly allowance of € 350.- for permanent and long-term visiting fellows. These allowances shall encourage young scholars to join the ERCCT and participate in its activities. ERCCT Fellows are provided with research facilities, interact with scholars from Europe and Taiwan, and present their Ph.D and postdoc research at the regularly held Taiwan Colloquium.
Allowances are offered in the following two categories:
1. Research Fellows. This category includes
- Ph.D. candidates registered at one of the faculties of Tuebingen University;
- Ph.D. students based in Tuebingen who are registered at other European universities;
- Post-docs conducting their research at the ERCCT.
2. Visiting Research Fellows
This category applies to individuals who wish to conduct their research at the center for a shorter period of time (several months or longer).
The monthly allowance it available only to those who are not receiving funding through other long- or short-term scholarships offered by the ERCCT (for further information, please access the ERCCT's website at www.ercct.uni-tuebingen.de) or other institions.
